The "Istok-Bashlangych" Center united generations.
Specialists from the Comprehensive Center for Social Services "Istok-Bashlangych" in the Leninogorsk district held a series of events dedicated to the Day of Remembrance and Sorrow, uniting all departments of the institution. Social workers from home care conducted the action "Candle of Memory - Day of Sorrow," during which they lit candles together with their clients in memory of the fallen defenders of the Fatherland and honored their memory with a moment of silence. A special place in the day's program was occupied by a meeting with veterans and workers of the rear titled "I Have No Right to Forget." The older generation shared memories of their wartime childhood, the hardships of the war years, and the great joy of Victory. Social educator from the family and children's social assistance department Leisan Khairullina held a film lecture for underage social service recipients titled "Children Watch About Victory." The kids watched short films about the war, which revealed stories of courage, resilience, and the fates of children during wartime. After the viewing, a discussion took place: teenagers shared their impressions, asked questions, and reflected on the importance of preserving historical memory. According to the organizers, such events form a civic position, help realize the value of peaceful life, strengthen the connection between generations, and cultivate respect for the feats of the elders.
