The V International Student Festival "Dialogue of Cultures KIU" took place at KIU.

      On June 15, the International Festival "Dialogue of Cultures KIU" took place at the Kazan Innovative University named after V.G. Timiryasov, uniting students from different countries, nationalities, and cultural traditions. The event was dedicated to the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia and became a vivid testament to the fact that mutual understanding, respect, and openness can overcome any boundaries, creating a space for friendship and constructive communication. The Vice-Rector for Economics and Strategic Development of KIU, Lilia Vorontsova, addressed the participants and guests of the festival with a welcoming speech. In her speech, she emphasized the importance of preserving and developing intercultural dialogue in the university environment and expressed gratitude to the students for their active participation in the cultural life of the university and their contribution to strengthening the atmosphere of friendship and mutual respect. The festival participants demonstrated not only their creative abilities but also a deep interest in Russian culture and language. A bright element of the program was the theatrical performances based on Russian folk tales, in which the participants enthusiastically embodied the images of well-known fairy tale characters. On that day, the assembly hall of KIU turned into a space for vibrant cultural dialogue, where various peoples, traditions, and creative directions met. Students showed genuine interest in the culture of other countries, readiness for open communication, and mutual exchange of experiences. At the end of the festival, all participants received commemorative gifts from the university as a token of gratitude for their creative contribution, activity, and desire to develop intercultural communication.
