      Several streets were flooded today. Streams flowed even to the very center of the city.

      The rain stopped, and the sun came out. But despite this, the consequences of the bad weather remained. Cars were crossing the intersection of Volgogradskaya and Ibragimova. And for pedestrians, this section was completely closed. Here, the crosswalk was almost invisible.

      However, in the next take, a teenager with a smile crossed the street in ankle-deep water. The huge puddle did not scare the courier either. His bicycle turned into a catamaran. The wheels of the cart dipped into the water, and this grandmother had to walk in the middle of the intersection.

      One in the field is a warrior. A worker from the utility service arrived a little later to deal with the flood. Crews were cleaning storm drains throughout the city today.

      The roads only became drier in the second half of the day, but by evening, the downpour hit again.

      "Summer precipitation has a very important feature. Due to the difference in surface characteristics, the intensity of convection varies from place to place. As a result, one part of the city may experience a heavy downpour, while in a neighboring area, not a drop may fall," noted climatologist Timur Aukhadeyev.

      Those who came out dry today were lucky. But the rain will touch everyone next week, meteorologists are sure. The monthly norm has already fallen. By the end of June, it may double. It is also better to keep umbrellas ready for the upcoming weekend. Tatarstan may be hit by a light rain, while on Sunday, the air temperature will warm up to 22 degrees Celsius.
