In Kazan, a light show will be held at the Spasskaya Tower of the Kremlin for the Day of Remembrance and Sorrow.
On June 21, Kazan will host a light show dedicated to the Day of Remembrance and Sorrow. Residents of the capital of Tatarstan will see a unique multimedia presentation dedicated to the contribution of the city and its people to the Great Victory, the organizers reported. Large-scale video projections will recreate pages of the history of the Great Patriotic War and remind us of the courage and resilience of the people. Special attention will be given to front-line soldiers, blockade survivors, rear workers, and concentration camp prisoners. According to the organizers, light installations are a modern way to preserve memory and convey history to the younger generation. The light show will take place on June 21 from 21:00 to 23:00 near the Spasskaya Tower of the Kazan Kremlin (Kremlin territory, 8). Admission is free. Kazan has become one of four cities where the "Light of Victory" event will take place. Unique video projections will also be seen by residents of Nizhny Novgorod, Yekaterinburg, and Novosibirsk.
