UNICS has extended its cooperation with Euroleague champion, four-time Russian champion, and the top scorer of the VTB United League Alexey Shved (198 cm, 86 kg). The new agreement with the 37-year-old Russian guard is set for the 2026/27 sports season.
Alexey joined the Kazan club in November 2025. In 50 regular season and playoff matches of the national championship, Shved averaged 9.1 points, 5.7 assists (team best), and 2.5 rebounds in 21:05 minutes on the court. In 5 matches of the international WINLINE Basket Cup, Shved's stats were 9.0 points, 6.0 assists, 2.2 rebounds, and 1.2 steals in 22:41 minutes of playing time.
