This was stated by the Minister of Health of Tatarstan, Almir Abashev, at the All-Russian forum "Medical Device Circulation NOVAMED-2026" held in Kazan IT Park. "Our country is rapidly moving towards complete import substitution in the medical supplies sector. 80% of the medical equipment purchased and used to upgrade Tatarstan hospitals is produced in the Russian Federation," the minister noted. Abashev added that the domestic industry is currently striving to form a market for the entire range of devices used in medical practice.
