The dog has been transferred to a shelter by court decision: bailiffs remind pet owners of their responsibilities.

      In the Bavlinsky District Department of the Federal Bailiff Service of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan, a court decision was executed regarding the seizure of a dog and its placement in a specialized animal shelter. The enforcement document was received by the district department after the court reviewed the circumstances of the incident, during which a dog belonging to a local resident bit minors in the territory of the Bavlinsky municipal district.

      Based on the enforcement order, the bailiff initiated enforcement proceedings against the animal's owner and notified her of the need to comply with the court's decision within the established timeframe. On the appointed day, the bailiff of the Bavlinsky District Department of the Federal Bailiff Service, together with a representative of the Nizhnekamsk Territorial Department of Veterinary Safety and State Supervision of the Main Department of Veterinary Medicine of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan, went to the debtor's residence to carry out enforcement actions. After explaining the procedure for executing the court decision, the citizen voluntarily handed over the dog. The animal was then transported under the supervision of the bailiffs to a specialized shelter designated for further care. The enforcement proceedings were concluded due to the actual fulfillment of the requirements of the enforcement document.

      The Federal Bailiff Service of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan draws citizens' attention to the fact that bailiffs execute legally binding court decisions and act solely within the powers granted by law. This case serves as a reminder of the importance of responsible pet ownership. Dog owners must comply with the requirements of the Federal Law of December 27, 2018, No. 498-FZ "On Responsible Animal Care and Amending Certain Legislative Acts of the Russian Federation," aimed at ensuring the safety of citizens and humane treatment of animals.

      Additionally, there are additional requirements for keeping pets in the republic, approved by a resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan. The document regulates the procedure for keeping and walking animals, as well as the owners' responsibilities for ensuring the safety of those around them. Adhering to established rules helps prevent accidents, maintain the safety of children and adults, and avoid legal consequences for pet owners. A responsible attitude towards one's pets is not only about caring for them but also about respecting those around you.
