Water, history, and leisure: residents of Tatarstan have chosen the improvement projects for 2027.

      In Tatarstan, the results of the all-Russian voting on the selection of priority areas for improvement in 2027 have been summarized. More than 425,000 residents participated in the voting. The most active were the residents of Kazan — 131,000 people, in Naberezhnye Chelny 57,000 people voted, and in Nizhnekamsk — 28,000. Among the districts, the leaders in activity were the Almetyevsky, Zelenodolsky, and Bugulminsky districts, as reported by the press service of the Institute for the Development of Cities of Tatarstan. The main trend this year was the demand for improved embankments and access to water. The absolute leader in the number of votes was the project for the continuation of the improvement of the embankment named after Fikrat Tabaev in Naberezhnye Chelny — it was supported by 40,000 people. The embankment of the Great Cheremshan River in the Cheremshansky district and the renovation of the Kama River embankment in the Rybno-Slobodsky district also received high support. The second most popular were projects related to historical memory and cultural heritage. In Kazan, the victory was won by the square on Tatarstan Street with the installation of a sculpture by Sary Sadykova — it received 49,500 votes. In Aznakayevo, residents supported the continuation of the improvement of the central park named after Ishkaev, in Nizhnekamsk — the development of the "Suyumbike" park, and in Bugulma — the historical children's park on Vladimir Lenin Street, created back in 1938. In the Kamsky-Ustyinsky and Mamadyshsky districts, the Victory Parks were the winners. In total, there were 178 objects on the voting list across the republic. The voting took place as part of the federal project "Formation of a Comfortable Urban Environment" of the national project "Infrastructure for Life." In each of the 45 districts of Tatarstan, a winner was determined, whose territory will be improved next year. The complete lists of winning objects have been published here.
