      In Zainsk, the construction of the temple in honor of St. Macarius, Metropolitan of Moscow and Kolomna, continues. This long-awaited project for many believers is being built in the 35th district of the city. Services in the new parish will be conducted in two languages — Church Slavonic and Kryashen. The laying of the future church took place on October 7, 2024. On that day, Bishop Methodius of Almetyevsk and Bugulma performed the rite of laying the church — a capsule with an Archpastoral letter was placed in the foundation of the future building. This moment became the starting point for construction work. In 2025, the builders managed to complete the brickwork and the erection of the walls, and on December 26, they began installing the floor slabs.

      To date, the main construction work on the walls has been completed, which was made possible thanks to the support of caring residents and benefactors. However, there are still equally important stages ahead: the installation of the roof and dome, the installation of windows and doors, the laying of engineering communications, interior finishing, and the arrangement of the temple space.

      The temple in honor of St. Macarius is intended to become not only an architectural structure but a true spiritual center for the residents of the microdistrict and the entire city. As noted by the parish priest, Father Rodion Sadykov, the future temple will have a unique linguistic identity. "The feature of the temple is that services will be conducted in Church Slavonic and Kryashen languages," says the priest. "This will emphasize our respect for historical heritage and cultural traditions."

      The choice of the heavenly patron is also not accidental. St. Macarius is known as a great enlightener and defender of faith. The construction of the temple in his honor, according to the parish's plan, will remind the residents of Zainsk about spiritual values and the rich history of the area.

      The financial issue remains one of the most pressing. The construction is being carried out exclusively on the parish's funds and voluntary donations. "We believe that together we can bring this idea to life," Father Rodion addresses the townspeople. "At the moment, the parish is doing everything possible to build the temple, but significant resources are needed for this. We especially hope for those who have not yet had the opportunity to participate in this construction. Your help is particularly valuable and in demand right now."

      In conclusion, the priest addressed all residents of Zainsk with words of gratitude and encouragement: "We express our sincere appreciation for your attention to our request and hope for your kind participation. We wish you and your loved ones God's blessings, peace, goodness, and prosperity!"

      The parish expresses sincere gratitude to all who have already contributed to this good cause.

      According to the priest, without completing the current construction processes, it is impossible to imagine the temple functioning and ready for services. Every ruble donated for construction brings closer the day when the doors of the new church will open for parishioners, and the dome with the cross will shine over the 35th district.
