On June 26, the All-Russian "Abilympics" championship for veterans of the special military operation will kick off in Tatarstan. The competitions will take place at "Kazan Expo." More than 600 participants from 86 regions are expected. Tatarstan will be represented by 126 people. Competitions will be held in 21 main and seven demonstration competencies. Key areas include UAV operator and assembler, prosthetics technician, entrepreneur, first aid instructor, adaptive physical education, and others. The main goal of the championship is comprehensive rehabilitation, career guidance, and assistance in employment for veterans of the special military operation. "When participants go through these competitions, employers also see them, and job fairs in Tatarstan are organized not just for fun, but based on the results and requests from participants of the special military operation on various issues. When a company leader works within the framework of the championship or as an expert, they see what adaptation of the workplace is needed today!" noted the Deputy Prime Minister of Tatarstan, Leila Fazleeva. "At any age, regardless of whether a person is young or older, there is always an opportunity to acquire a new profession. We have experience from last year when our veterans enrolled in college at the age of over 40, wishing to obtain a new specialty," said Emil Gubaidullin, director of the Center for the Development of Professional Competencies.
