The Kazan Powder Factory is 238 years old!

      On June 24, 2026, the Chairwoman of the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Tatarstan, Elena Kuzmicheva, participated in the celebration of the 238th anniversary of the Kazan Powder Factory. The event brought together veterans of the enterprise, current employees, and youth. The collective of the oldest defense enterprise was congratulated by high-ranking guests, including the Head of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the Director of the Department of Conventional Arms, Ammunition, and Special Chemicals of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Pavel Postnikov, the First Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan Rodion Karpov, the Minister of Labor, Employment, and Social Protection of Tatarstan Elmira Zaripova, the head of ROSPROFPROM Andrey Chekmenyov, the chairwoman of the Tatarstan Republican Organization of ROSPROFPROM Oksana Shakirova, and others. The celebration began with a commemorative action — laying flowers at the Wall of Remembrance for factory workers who heroically died during the Great Patriotic War. Participants honored their feat and recalled the important historical role of the factory. Then the guests visited a unique exhibition titled "The Factory in the Life of the City," which showcased rare photographs from the archive of the museum of military and labor glory "Zarechye," telling about the rich history of the enterprise. The central event was a solemn ceremony in the conference hall of the factory's design bureau. The highest state award — the Order of Alexander Nevsky for significant contributions to strengthening the country's defense capability — was presented to the factory by the Head of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. The chairman of ROSPROFPROM Andrey Chekmenyov awarded the head of the enterprise Alexander Livshits with the badge of the FNPR "For Social Partnership." In addition, 17 deserving employees of the factory and representatives of contracting organizations were honored with state, departmental, and trade union awards for their personal contributions to the development of production.

      Elena Kuzmicheva thanked the collective of the enterprise for their selflessness, professionalism, and dedication to their work, particularly emphasizing the importance of generational continuity and the significant role of mentors in nurturing talented young factory workers and strengthening the labor spirit of the enterprise.
