KIU - in the TOP-5 private universities in Russia according to the National University Ranking "Interfax"

      The Interfax agency has published a fresh national ranking of universities. Kazan Innovative University named after V.G. Timiryasov ranks 5th in the overall ranking of the best non-state universities in Russia and 7th among all universities in Tatarstan (according to the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan, there are 41 universities operating in the republic). This means that we occupy high positions across all ranking indicators: "Education," "Innovation," "Brand," "Research," "Social Environment," and "Cooperation." But let's explain in more detail what each criterion means.

      So, we have once again confirmed our status as an innovative university, taking 1st place in the "Innovation" criterion! This is logical: KIU is among the strongest universities in the country in terms of startup and business initiative development, and our "Accelerator" allows students to turn their business ideas into full-fledged startups. During the operation of the acceleration program, 29 students have already received 1 million rubles each to develop their own projects.

      3rd place in the "Social Environment" criterion means that we are creating the best conditions in Russia for personal growth, student life, and youth initiatives. 4th place in the "Brand" criterion speaks to the recognition and good reputation of the university, while 5th place in "Education" and "Cooperation" confirms KIU's status as an international university with high-quality education.
