      E-commerce in Tatarstan continues to actively develop. As of the first quarter of 2026, more than 73,000 sellers from the republic are registered on the largest Russian marketplaces, which is 5.1% higher than the figures for the same period last year.

      Kazan traditionally leads in the number of sellers with over 28,000 entrepreneurs. The top five also includes Naberezhnye Chelny (8.9 thousand), Zelenodolsk (2.9 thousand), Nizhnekamsk (2.5 thousand), and Almetyevsk (2.4 thousand). An analysis of consumer demand shows that residents of Tatarstan most often purchase goods in the following categories:

      Digital and household appliances

      Clothing and footwear

      Auto parts and accessories

      Impressive figures demonstrate the dynamics of online trade in the region: since the end of 2020, the number of sellers on marketplaces has increased 55 times. By the end of 2025, this figure reached nearly 72,000 entrepreneurs.

      State support for businesses is provided within the framework of the national project "Effective and Competitive Economy." Entrepreneurs can receive preferential loans, utilize leasing products, and benefit from guarantee support, including Islamic financing tools.
