      The first meeting of the Public Council of the new composition took place at the State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan for Archival Affairs. As a result, Anvar Mukhametzyanov, a participant in the special military operation and head of the commission for patriotic education, youth affairs, and veterans, was unanimously elected as the chairman. The meeting discussed the development of digital archives, the implementation of artificial intelligence tools, and the increase in the number of socio-legal requests – over 92 thousand are received annually, and almost half are already coming in electronic form. At the same time, participants noted that some tasks still require the involvement of specialists: this concerns the restoration of work experience at liquidated enterprises and the deciphering of old manuscripts, which automatic systems are currently unable to handle. The chairperson of the State Committee, Gulnara Gabdrakhmanova, emphasized the importance of not delaying the collection of testimonies related to the special military operation while living memories, personal belongings of participants, and eyewitness accounts are still preserved. Anvar Mukhametzyanov, who himself participated in the special operation, supported this approach and noted that the special operation affected not only military personnel but also their families, medical staff, volunteers, and residents of border areas. Council members reached a consensus that the collection of materials about the heroes of the special military operation should become a key area of work. They also plan to address legal and legislative issues regarding the transfer of archival data about employees, especially for confirming work experience upon retirement.
