28 counselors, 13 sites, and hundreds of happy children — the project "Camp of My Yard" has become the main alternative to countryside recreation.
Summer in the city can be just as eventful as in countryside camps. All that is needed is to be at one of the yard sites, where the "Camp of My Yard" is already in full swing. This project has long become a good tradition for Zainsk and a real alternative for those spending their holidays at home. Lera Semenova has been working on the project for several years now. This season, 28 counselors have been involved in organizing children's leisure activities. All of them are teenagers aged 14 to 18, for whom this job has become not only a way to earn money but also a huge life experience. Before going to the sites, the kids undergo special training at the counselor's school, where they learn how to connect with children and organize events.
Such sites operate throughout the city, turning ordinary yards into centers of attraction. The large-scale work would be impossible without support. The "Camp of My Yard" project has repeatedly won grant competitions.
The shift at the "Camp of My Yard" continues, which means there are still many new games, friends, and summer discoveries ahead for the kids.
