In Tatarstan, the application process has begun for the competition "The Strength of Tatarstan: Labor and Courage."

      The Public Chamber of the Republic of Tatarstan has launched an application campaign for the republican competition of projects "The Strength of Tatarstan: Labor and Courage," aimed at identifying the best public practices in the field of patriotic education and preserving the historical memory of the feats of the region's residents.

      In Tatarstan, the acceptance of projects for the republican award in the field of civic initiatives "The Strength of Tatarstan: Labor and Courage" has begun. The organizer is the Public Chamber of the Republic of Tatarstan. Both officially registered public associations of the republic and initiative groups of citizens permanently residing in the region are invited to participate. Special attention is given to projects dedicated to the unity of the people, working with youth, as well as supporting veterans and participants of the special military operation. Additionally, ideas for commemorating the heroes and providing targeted assistance to their families are accepted for the competition.

      The competition will take place in five thematic nominations. These are projects related to the history of the flagship enterprises of the republic, labor dynasties, and outstanding residents of municipalities. Separate tracks are allocated for preserving the memory of defenders of the Fatherland from different generations—from veterans of the Great Patriotic War to participants of the special military operation. The program also includes initiatives for the social adaptation of returning fighters and projects for delivering humanitarian aid to frontline areas.

      The competition "The Strength of Tatarstan: Labor and Courage" will be held in three stages. The municipal selection will start on June 22 and will last until July 20. During this period, candidates must submit their works to the public councils of their cities and districts. Importantly, no more than three projects (one in each nomination) can be sent from each municipality to the next level. The next zonal stage is scheduled for the period from August 17 to August 28, 2026. It will take place in person at six discussion venues across the republic. The main final, where the names of the winners will be announced, will be held in October of this year.
