The police officers of Kazan solved the theft of a phone.

      A 47-year-old woman reported a mobile phone theft to the police department. According to the complainant, she was in the yard of her home in the evening and discovered the loss only after returning home and trying to use the device. During operational search activities, officers from the "Aviastroitelny" police department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Kazan identified the suspect and detained a previously convicted man born in 1978. He fully admitted his guilt. It was established that the perpetrator noticed the victim's mobile phone fall out of her pocket and deliberately waited for her to go home. Once he was sure no one was watching, the suspect picked up the gadget and kept it for himself, making no attempt to return it to the owner. Subsequently, the perpetrator sold the stolen device at a pawn shop. A criminal case has been initiated based on the signs of a crime under part 2 of article 158 "Theft" of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.

      During the investigation, the suspect will be under a subscription not to leave and to behave properly.
