      In the Tetyushi district, after a large-scale reconstruction, the country health children's camp "Chaika" has opened its doors. In the first summer shift, 140 boys and girls will rest here — exactly twice as many as before. The grand opening was attended by the chairman of the Council of Municipalities of the Republic of Tatarstan, Exam Gubaidullin, representatives of the contracting organization, educators, parents, and, of course, the real stars of the celebration — the children. The honored guests inspected the new sleeping buildings, shower complex, medical station, club, and dining room — all facilities are ready to receive children, the engineering systems are functioning properly, and the territory is well-maintained. Opening the festive event, the head of the Tetyushi district, Rami Safiullov, expressed gratitude to the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, the Government of Tatarstan, and the Council of Municipalities of Tatarstan for their constant support of municipalities, assistance in the development of social infrastructure, and care for the younger generation. He also thanked the builders for their conscientious work. "Today, the camp 'Chaika' celebrates its 60th anniversary. During this time, more than 18,000 children from all corners of our Republic and other regions of Russia have gained strength, health, and found true friends here," said Rami Safiullov. He noted that a modern modular gas boiler house has been put into operation at the camp, the medical station has been updated, the sleeping building has been completely renovated, and a new checkpoint has been built. "Today we are solemnly opening the long-awaited club after construction and improvement, where concerts and movie nights will now take place, a new shower complex, fully updated engineering communications, and large-scale improvement of the entire territory has been carried out. Previously, 70 children rested in 'Chaika' annually. Now, thanks to the new capacities, we have doubled the number of places. This season, 140 boys and girls will spend an unforgettable summer in comfortable and safe conditions," emphasized the head of the Tetyushi district, Rami Safiullov. Speaking to those gathered, the chairman of the Council of Municipalities of Tatarstan, Exam Gubaidullin, noted that organizing recreation and strengthening the health of children and youth remains one of the key priorities of the social policy of the Republic of Tatarstan. He noted that annually over 220,000 children rest in health camps in the republic, and funding for the health campaign in 2026 exceeded 3 billion rubles — this is 21% more than last year's figure. According to him, such investments are direct investments in the future of Tatarstan. The event concluded with the presentation of letters of appreciation and performances by young artists.

      All reconstruction and construction work on new facilities at the country children's health camp "Chaika" was carried out by the contracting organization LLC "Stroysiti." The customer was the State Institution "GISU RT." The implementation of the project became possible thanks to the state program of the Russian Federation "Education Development," the federal project "Creating conditions for the education, recreation, and health of children and youth," and the regional program "Capital repairs and construction of children's health camps."
