Deputy Govyrin revealed who will receive a pension increase starting August 1.

      Starting from August 1, payments for recipients of funded pensions and certain types of fixed-term pension payments will increase in Russia. This was reported by State Duma deputy Alexey Govyrin to "RIA Novosti." "From August 1, 2026, some pensioners will receive an increase in payments from pension savings. This applies to those who have already been assigned a funded pension through the Social Fund of Russia. For them, the payment amount will increase by 17.3%. No application will be required; the recalculation will be conducted automatically based on the fund's own data," said the parliamentarian. According to the deputy, the increase will affect a limited circle of citizens who have already been assigned a funded pension. This right is granted to men born between 1953 and 1966 and women born between 1957 and 1966, for whom contributions to the funded part of the pension were made in 2002-2004, as well as citizens born in 1967 and younger, for whom such contributions were paid until the freezing of the funded part in 2014. The right to receive payments arises upon reaching the age of 60 for men and 55 for women, provided they have the necessary work experience and pension coefficients. Additionally, participants in the state co-financing program for pension savings, citizens who directed maternity capital funds to a funded pension, and Russians who formed savings through voluntary contributions will receive an increase in fixed-term pension payments of 19.3%. "The increase applies to fixed-term pension payments. It is assigned for a minimum period of ten years chosen by the individual," Govyrin explained. The deputy also noted that the August increase does not apply to old-age insurance pensions, social pensions, disability payments, survivor benefits, and military pensions. If the savings are in a non-state pension fund, the procedure and amount of indexing should be clarified with the respective NPF.
