Honey under control: in the Nurlatsky district, apiaries are receiving official passports
Documentary registration guarantees buyers the purity and quality of the product. In the Nurlat district, work is actively underway to bring beekeeping farms in line with new veterinary regulations. As of today, 163 apiaries have already been registered, and passports have been issued to the owners. During this work, 2013 bee families have been identified. As explained by the head of the Nurlat State Veterinary Association, Ilnur Khanyafiev, obtaining a passport is not just a formality. The document is filled out strictly based on laboratory research, inspection of the apiary, and confirmation of preventive measures taken against bee diseases. "This approach guarantees the health of the insects and the safety of future honey," he emphasized. It should be noted that federal regulations (Ministry of Agriculture Order No. 645) impose strict requirements on bee keeping. Hives must be installed on stands, at least 3 meters away from the boundaries of neighboring plots, and disinfection of equipment must be carried out in specially equipped areas. Special attention is paid to labeling. Each group of bees must be accounted for in state information systems. A plaque with a QR code is placed on the outer wall of the hive, allowing identification of the family from a distance of at least 3 meters. This must be done within 14 days after settling. When selling honey, wax, and other products, beekeepers are required to issue veterinary accompanying documents through the "Mercury" system. This confirms that the product has been tested for the absence of antibiotics, pesticides, and heavy metals.
For all questions regarding registration and document processing, beekeepers can contact the local state veterinary association. The work on the passporting of apiaries in the district continues.
