Pilots and miners will have their pensions increased starting August 1.

      Starting from August 1, pensions for former pilots and miners will be increased, and a recalculation will also be conducted for working pensioners, recipients of funded pensions, and citizens who turned 80 in July, announced Kapan Panesh, Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Budget and Taxes. According to the parliamentarian, special supplements will be recalculated for former members of flight crews in civil aviation and workers in the coal industry. The amount of the increase is individual and depends on the length of service and average monthly earnings: on average, pilots will receive an additional 30,000 rubles, while miners will receive about 6,000. The increase occurs automatically, and no application is needed. For working pensioners, an annual recalculation of insurance pensions will be conducted, taking into account employer contributions for 2025. The maximum increase will be 470.28 rubles per month (with a salary of at least 68,975 rubles). Pensioners who turned 80 in July will see their fixed payment doubled from 9,584.69 to 19,169.38 rubles, and a care allowance of 1,413.86 rubles will also be assigned. Funded pensions will be indexed by 17.3% based on investment results for 2025. The average funded pension will increase from 1,600 to 1,876 rubles. The recalculation will affect about 136,000 people, with 8.5 billion rubles allocated for this purpose.
