      The Ministry of Culture of Russia has prepared a draft resolution that will allow young people to visit circuses under the "Pushkin Card" program. The document has been published on the portal of draft regulatory legal acts and is undergoing anti-corruption expertise. The list of events available under the card is planned to include visits to circuses alongside cinemas. Also, starting from September 1, 2026, the nominal value of the "Pushkin Card" may increase from 5,000 to 7,000 rubles. — The prepaid bank card "Pushkin Card," issued by the operator in the name of the citizen, has an annual limit of 7,000 rubles, which includes limits for purchasing tickets for film screenings of no more than 2,000 rubles and for events at state circuses of no more than 2,000 rubles. The validity period of the card begins from the day the citizen applies for such a card and ends 12 months after the citizen turns 22 years old, — states the new version of the document. Earlier, the initiative to expand the program to include circuses was proposed by Edgard Zapashny, the general director of the Bolshoi Moscow State Circus. In March 2026, Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed to ensure the participation of state circuses in the "Pushkin Card" program.
