An event for veterans of the Special Military Operation and their families was held in the Kukmor district.

An event for veterans of the special military operation and their family members took place at the Youth Center "Yalkyn" in the village of Bolshoy Kukmor. It was held as part of the social project "Transformation" with the support of the charitable foundation "Home for Our Own." Participants were welcomed by the deputy head of the district executive committee, member of the "United Russia" party Aigul Bagamanova, as well as veterans of the special military operation Ruzal Giniyatullin and Sergey Borisov. The goal of the event is to provide spiritual support to veterans and their relatives, helping them overcome psychological barriers. Such meetings have already taken place in Kazan and Zelenodolsk, and their organization is planned in other cities and districts of the republic, said the head of the foundation Vera Karaseva. During the event, veterans could share their problems and tell others about their experiences. Master classes were held for their relatives. Activist of the "United Russia" party, head of the Yansibinsky rural club Nailya Magsumova taught participants embroidery. "This is a very useful activity. It calms, improves fine motor skills in children, and helps distinguish colors," she shared. The artistic director of the Bolshesardyk Culture House Landysh Muratova conducted a master class on making items with national ornaments. There were also master classes dedicated to beauty and health, where participants received advice on makeup, hair styling, and manicure. Children were entertained by animators. Resident of the Kukmor district Aysylu Shafigullina came to the event with her granddaughter Aziza. The woman shared that her husband died while performing a combat mission. He previously worked at a metal cookware factory in Kukmor, and after the start of the special operation, he could not remain on the sidelines and signed a contract. "We are proud of him. Aziza also knows about her grandfather, his feats, and goes to the cemetery with us. Thank you very much for today's event — I really liked it. Aziza also happily participated in various master classes," Aysylu Shafigullina shared.
