The large-scale renewal of the vehicle fleet of rural consumer cooperatives has become one of the key events of the International Forum taking place these days at "Kazan Expo." On July 8, the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, handed over the keys to 39 units of specialized equipment to representatives of district societies. The head of the republic emphasized that cooperatives play a crucial role in supplying essential goods to the residents of the most remote settlements in Tatarstan. According to Rustam Minnikhanov, the new vehicles will help elevate the level of trade services in rural areas to a fundamentally new height. The solemn ceremony was also attended by Dmitry Zubov, the chairman of the Central Union of Consumer Societies of the Russian Federation. He noted the high significance of the double anniversary — the 195th anniversary of Russian consumer cooperation and the 110th anniversary of the Tatarstan organization. Dmitry Zubov expressed gratitude to the republic's leadership for supporting the industry and for their hospitality, emphasizing that the forum gathered delegations from 31 countries.

      Modern mobile shops, bread trucks, light-duty Gazelle trucks, and VIs model vehicles have been delivered to 34 district consumer societies. An additional gift for the 110th anniversary of Tatpотребсоюз was a powerful refrigerator on a KAMAZ Kompas chassis, which was also handed over to the cooperatives. All received equipment is equipped with the requirements for transporting and storing food products. This will make mobile trade more efficient and expand the geographical coverage — currently, the republic's cooperatives regularly serve over two thousand small settlements.

      Let us remind you that the event is taking place in Kazan from July 8 to 10, 2026, with the support of the strategic partner — PJSC Sberbank. The main theme of the meeting of young specialists and industry experts is the unification of resources for the further development of consumer cooperation.
