In Tatarstan, 215 rural post offices will be updated.

      Over the past year, employees of the postal service of Tatarstan delivered 55 million letters, 16 million copies of newspapers, and 263 thousand pension payments to the residents of the republic. As reported by the Minister of Digital Development of State Administration, Information Technologies, and Communications of the Republic of Tatarstan, Ilya Nachvin, there are currently 1,108 postal offices operating in the region, employing more than 6,200 people. For many residents of rural areas, the post office remains an important center for service provision. Here, one can arrange and receive pensions, order the delivery of medicines, pay taxes and utility bills, as well as use banking services. In 2026, 55.3 million rubles were allocated from the Tatarstan budget to support employees of rural postal offices. Approximately 2,300 employees will receive these payments. Additionally, the modernization of postal infrastructure continues in the republic. In the near future, it is planned to update 215 rural offices.
