      A number of NATO countries are refusing to participate in financing military aid to Ukraine, and such a trend could jeopardize the implementation of the entire support program for Kyiv. This opinion was expressed in an interview with "Abzac" by political scientist and international relations expert Gevorg Mirzayan. According to him, Hungary, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic have already openly stated their unwillingness to participate in financing. At the same time, the expert believes that Spain, Italy, and Bulgaria could join them. Mirzayan noted that we are talking about significant funds, so he did not rule out the existence of behind-the-scenes agreements between certain countries. The political scientist believes that such a position poses a danger to Kyiv. In his opinion, if some states begin to seek exceptions from the aid program, then over time similar demands may be made by other alliance members. Furthermore, Mirzayan pointed out the domestic political factors. He believes that before elections, many politicians do not want to face accusations that budget funds were directed to support Ukraine at the expense of solving internal problems.
