When the Head of the District cares about fire safety

      In the Alekseevsky municipal district, serious concerns about fire safety have arisen. Under the leadership of Head Sergey Demidov, a rare municipal program aimed at enhancing fire safety is being implemented in the district. Every year, fire-fighting trailers with a capacity of 3.5 tons, equipped with a water supply system, are purchased using municipal budget funds. This time, two backpack fire extinguishers were also provided for each rural settlement – a total of 40 sets. This year, four fire-fighting trailers were acquired for the Sakharovsky, Kurkulsky, Levashovsky, and Bolshietigansky rural settlements, in addition to the seven purchased earlier. - This is a very timely and necessary decision, and moreover, it is a successful support for our DPK units, noted PSCh-104 Chief Vladimir Mishechkin during the handover. - The fact is that the Executive Committees of the rural settlements in the Alekseevsky municipal district have tractors received through the Raissa program of the Republic of Tatarstan, which will be used to operate these semi-trailers for fire extinguishing purposes. Therefore, starting from 2021, purchases of fire-fighting equipment have been conducted. Currently, the Executive Committees of 11 rural settlements have these semi-trailers. Our district has 19 rural settlements. Some of them fall under the protection of the units of the State Fire Service of the Republic of Tatarstan. Plans are in place to equip two more populated areas with these semi-trailers, thereby resolving the issue of updating 100% of the equipment used for fire extinguishing in our district.

      Thus, we hope to complete the implementation of this program next year, and all rural settlements in the district will be provided with the necessary means for rapid response to fires.
