The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan has expanded support measures for SMEs.

      Key innovations have affected two main support institutions — the Regional Leasing Company (RLC) and the Guarantee Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan. The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan is expanding existing preferential leasing and guarantee programs, focusing on supporting innovative small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The measures are being implemented by the ministry and its subordinate structures within the framework of the national project "Effective and Competitive Economy." Key innovations have affected two main support institutions — the Regional Leasing Company (RLC) and the Guarantee Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan. Now, companies that have already conducted an initial public offering (IPO) or issued digital financial assets (DFA) can apply for preferential financing from the RLC. This opens up new opportunities for innovative entrepreneurs to attract capital. "We aim to stimulate the growth of SMEs going public and mastering modern financial instruments. These initiatives will not only strengthen Tatarstan's reputation as a center for innovative entrepreneurship but also give a boost to the development of the regional stock market," commented Natalia Kondratova, First Deputy Minister — Director of the Entrepreneurship Development Department. What has changed for businesses:

      · Post-IPO and DFA. SMEs that have completed their stock placement can take advantage of leasing at a preferential rate for two years after going public. Similar access to financing is granted to issuers of digital assets and bond loans.

      · Favorable RLC rates. Financing is provided at 9.5% per annum for domestic equipment and 11.5% for imported equipment. The leasing amount ranges from 0.5 to 40 million rubles, with a term of up to 60 months.

      · Zero down payment from the Guarantee Fund. For enterprises of new categories, the fund is ready to act as a guarantor for leasing transactions, covering at least 30% of the equipment cost. This allows reducing the initial payment under the contract to 0%, significantly decreasing the financial burden at the start.

      Let us remind you that this year, the maximum limits for key leasing products have also been doubled in Tatarstan, and the conditions for purchasing imported equipment have been revised.
