      Today, on the 4th day of the month of Safar (July 18), the traditional XIX All-Russian Children's Muslim Sabantuy took place in the village of Burbash in the Baltasinsky district. The Sabantuy began with the recitation of verses from the Quran and du'a, munajat, poems performed by children, and speeches by official guests. In his welcoming speech, the Mufti of Tatarstan, Chairman of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Republic of Tatarstan Kamil Hazrat Samigullin reminded of the well-known hadith of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ: "Value five things before they are replaced by five others: youth, before old age comes; health, before illness overcomes; wealth, before poverty overtakes; free time, before work comes; life, until death interrupts it." In his guidance, the Mufti Hazrat reminded that for many years the Sabantuy has served the cause of reviving Tatar-Muslim traditions. Then Mufti Kamil Hazrat awarded activists of the Baltasinsky Mukhtasibate. The medal of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Republic of Tatarstan was awarded to the muezzin of the Burbash Mosque, activist Damir Shakirov. Letters of gratitude from the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Republic of Tatarstan were awarded to activist Khabir Gubaidullin, educator of the Burbash boarding school Gulnara Salakhutdinova, and imam-khatib of the mosque in the village of Sosna Fanil Zakirov. Other respected guests in their speeches also emphasized the significance of the Children's Muslim Sabantuy for preserving religious education, spiritual and moral values, as well as strengthening family Tatar-Muslim traditions. The program of the event included over 30 national competitions (breaking pots, tug of war, catching a rooster, running, arm wrestling, egg-and-spoon race, sack fighting, sack race, chopping wood, etc.), as well as Tatar wrestling among boys and young men up to 18 years old. A separate "köräsh" was also held among hazrats and veterans over 60 years old.

      A feature of this Sabantuy was the joint performance of the noon prayer by all present in the central square.
