The Cup program includes a total of 15 disciplines. The II Rais Cup of the Republic of Tatarstan among participants of the special military operation in swimming and sports knife throwing took place at the "Miras" sports complex in Almetyevsk. More than 100 veterans of the special military operation from 29 municipal districts of the republic participated in the competitions. Participants were greeted by the head of the branch of the "Defenders of the Fatherland" fund, Guzel Udachina, the deputy head of the Almetyevsk district, Ramil Zakirov, the deputy minister of sports of Tatarstan, Ildar Sadriyev, and other officials. This year, the program of the Cup included the discipline of sports knife throwing for the first time, which generated great interest. In the swimming discipline, Bugulminets Andrey Knyazkin took 2nd place.
Municipal stages of the tournament take place from May to October, with the final scheduled for December in Kazan. The Cup program includes a total of 15 disciplines—from volleyball and swimming to hockey and shooting.
The goal of the tournament is to engage veterans of the special military operation in sports, their socialization, and the promotion of a healthy lifestyle.
