      Running tracks with professional surfaces, workout areas, and relaxation zones will appear in the adjacent territory. In 2026, the All-Russian Athletics Federation, with the support of the Eurasia Non-Profit Organization, will launch a large-scale project to create a network of Running Centers for running enthusiasts and supporters of a healthy lifestyle. The location will be chosen deliberately: the priority is to establish complexes where people are already accustomed to training, whether it be a park, waterfront, or picturesque square.

      "People are really starting to run, but often there is a lack of exactly such infrastructure, simple as it is called. Not a stadium for 30 thousand seats, roughly speaking, but changing rooms, showers, a place to drink some water, and so on, and so forth. To hide from the rain, perhaps, somewhere at some moment. And we have developed a concept, such a standard project," emphasized the chairman of the All-Russian Athletics Federation, Pyotr Fradkov.

      Inside the building, there will be changing rooms, showers, storage lockers, training rooms, and relaxation areas. The adjacent territory will feature running tracks with professional surfaces, workout areas, and relaxation zones. Special attention in the project is given to the formation of running communities. According to the head of the All-Russian Athletics Federation, it is important that the facility becomes not just a changing room, but a point of attraction for like-minded individuals united by a love for sports and a healthy lifestyle.

      For visitors, a mobile application will also be created for athletes to communicate with each other, track personal records, and make acquaintances. As Fradkov emphasized, the project is already generating significant interest and carries a meaningful social function.

      The main goal is to make running mass and accessible for people of any age and fitness level. One of the first such centers is planned to open in Kazan, where an active running community has already formed. "We have started work in the first 23 regions, and we will begin to put them into operation starting in early September of this year," clarified Pyotr Fradkov.
