A new bridge has been built in the Nurlat district.
For the residents of the village of Urnyak in the Nurlatsky district, a truly significant and long-awaited event took place — the official opening of a new capital bridge. It has permanently solved the long-standing problem of spring flooding, when the old bridge regularly went underwater due to the Big Cheremshan River. The new structure is designed to withstand high operational loads, including the passage of heavy machinery and vehicles with cargo, and also ensures unobstructed access for emergency services at any time of the year. The construction of the facility was carried out using advanced building technologies and materials: specialists installed durable reinforced concrete supports resistant to erosion, powerful ice drift, and maximum water rise, as well as equipped the roadway with convenient pedestrian paths, barrier fences, and modern lighting. As emphasized by the honored guests, this bridge has become not just an engineering structure, but a vital artery stimulating the development of the village. The opening ceremony took place in a festive atmosphere with the participation of villagers, residents of neighboring villages, builders, district leadership, representatives of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic, and natives of the village who came from Kazan, Naberezhnye Chelny, and Nizhnekamsk. The head of the Nurlatsky district, Damir Ishkineev, noted that this facility is important for the entire district and the Burmetyevsky rural settlement, expressing gratitude to the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, for supporting the project, as well as to the builders of the company "Mostovik" for their quality work ahead of schedule. The First Deputy Minister of Ecology of Tatarstan, Ilnur Gubaidullin, emphasized the builders' careful attitude towards the local ecosystem, while the general director of the construction company, Rustem Valeev, shared memories of how local residents sincerely thanked the builders even during the height of the flood when the facility was under construction. On behalf of all the villagers, Taliya Karimova expressed words of gratitude, noting that now people will be able to drive and walk across the bridge without worrying about the whims of the weather. A symbolic road sign marked the opening of the route, opening a new chapter for the residents of Urnyak with a reliable connection to the "big land."
