Marat Zyabbarov assessed the progress of the harvesting campaign and the development of the agricultural sector in the Zainsk district.

      Today, July 30, the Zainsky District was visited by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan — Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Zyabbarov on a working visit. He was accompanied by the head of the district, Razif Karimov.

      The visit began with a tour of the peasant-farmer enterprise of Alexey Gorshkov. The minister inspected the equestrian sports complex, evaluated the conditions for keeping horses, and the development of equestrian sports in the district. The farm makes a good impression: they take a serious approach to breeding and raising racehorses.

      Then the head of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food toured the fields of the agrofirm "Zay". Specialists focused on the sugar beet and winter wheat crops. It is a busy time for farmers: the harvesting campaign is in full swing. Together with the general director of the "Agrosila" holding, Svetlana Barsukova, and specialists from the district's agricultural sector, the minister inspected the beet plantations and highly appreciated the technology for growing the crop. In the areas of winter wheat, where large-scale work is currently underway, Marat Zyabbarov noted the high yield and thanked the farmers for their commendable results.

      "The main thing now is to harvest what has been grown without losses. A responsible approach from everyone will be required here," the minister emphasized.

      The head of the Zainsky District, Razif Karimov, in turn, reported on the progress of field work:

      "We are actively harvesting grains in the fields. At the same time, we are preparing for the digging of sugar beets. By August 5, all beet harvesting equipment will come out of the repair shop and disperse to the agrofirms. We are fully staffed: two operators are provided for each combine to work without downtime. Our machines show high productivity — the load on one unit of equipment for the season is from 1100 to 1500 hectares."

      Marat Zyabbarov also commented on the overall situation in the republic and assessed the work of Zainsky agrarians:

      "The harvesting campaign is underway everywhere. As of today, 11% of the area out of 1 million hectares has been harvested. The winter rapeseed has been completely harvested. This is a promising crop: early harvesting dates, low production costs, and quick revenue allow farmers to reinvest funds promptly. We recommend that all farms pay attention to it.

      The Zainsky District confirms its reputation as a leader. The yield of grains here exceeds 50 centners per hectare — so far, this is the best result in Tatarstan. The fields are clean, the rains did not interfere, the operators are optimistic, the equipment is in good condition, and there is enough fuel.

      Special attention is paid to sugar beets — this is a significant crop for the Zainsky District, one of the largest producers in the republic. Mass harvesting will begin in about ten days. The root crops are developing well, and the fields are clean. This is a high-margin crop, with 53–55 thousand hectares sown annually in the republic. Overall, the weather and organizational conditions are favorable, and all resources are available to complete the season. The priority is to preserve every centner of the harvested crop."

      As part of the visit, the head of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food also familiarized himself with the work of the agro-industrial park, assessed the quality of the products processed on-site, and visited the repair shop of JSC "Agrosila-service". In addition, the minister met with the heads of rural settlements and urged them to participate more actively in programs implemented through the agro-industrial complex.
