      The deputies of the city council of Naberezhnye Chelny, at their next, eighth meeting, adjusted the city budget for 2026 and the planned period of 2027-2028. After the changes, the city's treasury revenues increased to 25 billion rubles, while expenditures rose to 25.2 billion rubles. As reported by the head of the city's finance department, Svetlana Mulyukova, the difference between revenues and expenditures will be covered by the remaining funds. The changes are related to the receipt of additional inter-budget transfers. Thus, 37.1 million rubles will be allocated for the reimbursement of leasing payments for city buses NEFAZ. Another 860 thousand rubles have been allocated to support projects of creative teams from municipal cultural institutions. During the discussion of the issue, the mayor of Naberezhnye Chelny, Nail Magdeev, reminded that the renewal of the bus fleet is financed jointly by the city and the republic. "For five years, 50/50 the republic and the city finance through a leasing program the acquired and operated NEFAZ buses. Almost 1 billion is allocated from the additional revenues of the city budget, and the same amount is allocated by the head of Tatarstan for already operated buses, while part of the funds goes to current expenses and public obligations," noted the mayor. In addition, part of the remaining budget funds from last year has been set aside for the celebration of Sabantuy. 9.5 million rubles have been allocated for the organization of the holiday. Almost 6.5 million rubles are also provided for the payment of salaries to specialists in youth policy institutions.
