      Yesterday, the Mendeleevsky district was visited by Hero of Russia Alexander Lapin, State Duma Deputy Alfiya Kogogina, statesman Marat Bariev, and head of the Volga Department of Rostekhnadzor Azat Mubarakshin on a working visit. The delegation was accompanied by the head of the Mendeleevsky district, Robert Iskandarov. The working program began with a ceremony of laying flowers at the Eternal Flame. Then the guests visited the Alley of Heroes and the Alley of Glory, where they honored the memory of the defenders of the Fatherland, paying tribute to those who fought for the Motherland. One of the key events of the visit was attending the sports-patriotic game "Bondyuzhsky Rubizh," which is being held for the first time in the Mendeleevsky district. The head of the district and honored guests welcomed the participants of the competition, noting the importance of such projects for the military-patriotic education of youth, strengthening physical training, and forming an active civic position. During the event, a solemn ceremony was held to present sports uniforms to the Mendeleevsky district team in adaptive sports. The team includes people with disabilities and veterans of the special military operation. The team has repeatedly become a winner and prize-winner of republican and all-Russian competitions, representing the district with dignity at various sports venues. The delegation then visited the exhibition area under the dome "Atmosphere," where samples of combat weapons from different historical periods were presented. Here, a meeting was held with volunteers and representatives of public initiatives providing assistance to participants of the special military operation. Activists shared their daily work on producing dry rations, camouflage nets, trench candles, and other necessary products sent to the front lines. The visit concluded with a meeting with volunteers. Hero of Russia Alexander Lapin and State Duma Deputy Alfiya Kogogina left commemorative messages on a flag, expressed sincere gratitude to the volunteers for their selfless work, and emphasized that support for the fighters and unity of society are the most important components of the overall victory.
