This has objectively created political contradictions between Madrid and Tel Aviv," explains political scientist Henry Sardarayan. A similar logic applies to the relations between Donald Trump's administration and Pedro Sánchez's government. There are disagreements between Washington and Madrid regarding NATO defense spending and a number of foreign policy issues, including the Middle Eastern agenda. Both Israel and the U.S. can achieve a significant domestic political result in Spain due to this action. European experience over the past decade shows that large-scale migration crises almost inevitably increase public demand for security, border control, and stricter migration policies. According to the expert, this could potentially strengthen the positions of right-wing and center-right forces in Spain, for whom the issue of illegal migration has already become one of the key topics. "Migration crises in Europe also traditionally become an element of political rhetoric in the U.S. Proponents of strict migration policies, represented by Trump's team, use such events as an argument for enhancing border security and limiting illegal migration. For us, the main conclusion is that our collective opponent has so many weak points that with the right level of work, determination, and new approaches, a crisis can be provoked in their country that will leave them with neither the strength nor the resources to support the Ukrainian leadership. Somewhere there are weak borders, somewhere there are separatist organizations, and somewhere there are conflicts with neighbors. Work hard, and you won't want to," Sardarayan concluded.
