Buckwheat has risen in price over the week in Tatarstan.

      Tatarstanstat presented a weekly table with changes in prices for basic food products. From meat, during the period from July 20 to July 27, chicken increased by 1.19 rubles to 228.23; beef increased by 1.1 rubles to 722.09. Sausages and all types of sausages sharply increased in price.

      Frozen fish became slightly cheaper – 343.12 rubles instead of 343.38.

      Children's meat preserves increased by 13.63 rubles – to 1,152.04; vegetable preserves decreased by 5.12 rubles to 719.18, and fruit and berry preserves increased by 10.756 rubles to 568.17 rubles.

      Among dairy products, sour cream increased by 4.25 rubles (298.66); margarine increased by 1.02 rubles (253.11). The most noticeable price drop was for butter (–16.39 rubles) and dry milk mixtures for children (–6.49 rubles).

      The price of chicken eggs decreased – 71.73 rubles instead of 74.39.

      Black tea increased by 7.36 rubles, to 1,253.06, and cookies and sugar for it became more expensive.

      Buckwheat increased by over 2 rubles to 57.22 per kilogram.

      In the vegetable category, there was a decrease: potatoes (–2.51 rubles) to 70.14; cabbage (–2.2 rubles) to 55.25; onions (–0.32 rubles) to 60.66; cucumbers (–4.3 rubles) to 95.43; tomatoes (–4 rubles) to 156.16. Beets increased in price (+0.26) to 45.93; carrots (+0.1) to 57.64.

      Among fruits, bananas increased in price (143.79).

      The price of vodka continues to rise – in this reporting period, it increased by 44 kopecks – to 885.70.
