International Friendship Day in the Laishevsky District

      At the Comprehensive Center for Social Services "Golden Autumn," an event dedicated to International Friendship Day took place.

      Teamwork fosters further communication // Photo of the CCS "Golden Autumn" The event was organized by the staff of the social assistance department for families and children and was timed to coincide with the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia. As part of the event, children learned about the meaning of friendship, were able to develop their communication skills, learned to work in a team, and support each other. This was an important step in helping the children develop the ability to interact with those around them. Patriotic education is an important part of working with the younger generation. At the end of the meeting, a history hour was held dedicated to the Day of Remembrance of Russian soldiers who died in World War I from 1914 to 1918. The event helped children better understand that the memory of the past lives in the hearts of people. Such events contribute to the formation of respect for the feats of ancestors who gave their lives for the Motherland. The memory of the past helps preserve the connection between times and instill in children a sense of citizenship and patriotism.
