The deputies of the Council of the Laishevsky municipal district unanimously approved Ivan Shitov as the head of the district's Executive Committee. Before his appointment, the 37-year-old leader held the position of deputy head of the executive committee and had been acting as the head of the executive committee since July 8. Speaking before the deputies, Ivan Shitov outlined the key tasks in his new position. According to him, the main priority will be ensuring economic growth in the district as a basis for improving the quality of life for residents. "Among the priorities are the creation of new jobs, decent wages, support for small and medium-sized businesses, addressing construction and landscaping issues, improving the quality of medical services, and developing the education system," he noted. The new leader also thanked the head of the Laishevsky district, Ildus Zaripov, for the trust placed in him. "The Laishevsky district is an amazing, special place. Unique nature, rich history, proximity to Kazan, and yet its own character. But the main wealth is the people who live here, work, raise children, and believe in tomorrow," Shitov said. Introducing the candidate, the head of the district, Ildus Zaripov, noted that during his seven years of work as deputy head of the executive committee for construction and infrastructure development, Ivan Shitov had established himself as a competent leader and made a significant contribution to the implementation of projects aimed at improving the quality of life for residents of the district. Ivan Shitov was born in 1989 in Laishevo. In 2013, he graduated from Kazan State University of Architecture and Engineering with a degree in engineering. He began his career at the Municipal Unitary Enterprise "Management of Capital Construction of the Laishevsky District," where he rose from deputy director to head of the enterprise. Since November 2019, he has worked as deputy head of the Executive Committee of the Laishevsky District.
