The youth of Tatarstan are invited to participate in the grant competition of the Volga Federal District.

      Young residents of the republic aged 18 to 35 can receive financial support

      A grant competition for proactive youth has started in the Volga Federal District, organized by the Foundation for the Promotion of Civil Society Institutions in the Volga Federal District, the Ministry of Youth Affairs of Tatarstan, and the Autonomous Non-Profit Organization "Tatarstan - Territory of Opportunities." Young residents of the republic aged 18 to 35 can receive financial support for the implementation of their socially significant projects. The grant amount ranges from 200,000 to 500,000 rubles. The application campaign in the region opened on August 3 and will last until August 16 inclusive. Citizens of the Russian Federation who permanently reside in Tatarstan can participate, reports the press service of the republican Ministry of Youth Affairs. Applicants are allowed to submit only one application within one of three thematic tracks:

      • "Cultural diversity of the regions and unity of the peoples of the Volga region";

      • "Traditional values";

      • "Tourism potential of the regions of the Volga region."

      The implementation of the winning projects is planned for the period from November 1, 2026, to October 31, 2027.

      To participate in the competition, it is necessary to send a package of documents to the email address grantypfo@yandex.ru. At the regional stage, 15 best initiatives from Tatarstan will be selected to proceed to the next, remote district stage. Authors of the most promising ideas will be able to present their projects in person at the final, which will take place from September 30 to October 2 this year in the Samara region. Detailed participation conditions, a list of project requirements, and document templates are published on the official website of the Ministry of Youth Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan. Minister of Youth Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan Azat Kadyrov urged active youth to take advantage of the opportunity: "The youth of Tatarstan has many initiatives that can benefit society. The Volga Federal District grant competition provides an opportunity to receive support for their implementation, find like-minded people, and contribute to the development of their region. I invite young people to participate in the project and present their ideas."

      The event is organized with the assistance and under the patronage of the office of the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Volga Federal District, as well as with the support of the government of the Samara region. The main goal of the competition is to find and promote the best youth social projects that contribute to strengthening all-Russian identity, preserving traditional values, and revealing the tourism potential of the Volga Federal District regions.

      As noted by the press service of the Ministry of Youth Affairs of Tatarstan, holding such competitions resonates with the objectives of the national project "Youth and Children." In the near future, Tatarstan's youth will also have other significant events: next week, the republic's team will perform in the final of the district project "Hammer," and in the fall, the traditional public project "Heroes of the Fatherland" and the rally of search teams "No One is Forgotten" will take place.
