Student teams of RT celebrated Railway Workers' Day.

      In Kazan, a nationwide event "Train Uniting the Country" took place in honor of Railway Workers' Day. More than 100 young passengers and residents of the city participated in the celebration. The event was held at 34 railway stations across Russia, reports the press service of the student labor squads of Tatarstan. Over 22 years, more than 120,000 students have gone through the school of student labor squads in the railway transport sector. In the summer of 2023, more than 15,000 people are working in the industry. Students work as conductors, installers, signalmen, builders, medical personnel, and in other professions, noted Vasily Islaev, director of the Republican Center for Student Labor Squads. The management of JSC "Russian Railways" thanks the student squads for their contribution to the development of the railway industry. This summer, more than 350 students from Tatarstan are working on the railways. Schoolchildren participate in the "Track Star" project. In honor of the holiday, Russian Railways and the student squads established an award "For Contribution to the Development of the Movement of Student Labor Squads in Railway Transport." The award is given for personal achievements and contributions to promoting the brand of JSC "Russian Railways." Candidates are nominated based on the results of the labor season.

      The activities of the student squads are coordinated by the Ministry of Youth Affairs of Tatarstan as part of the national project "Youth and Children," initiated by the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.
