      The innovation coincided with a significant increase in federal support for military personnel. Starting January 1, 2026, the one-time cash payment to citizens signing a contract with the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation in the territory of the republic amounts to 2.9 million rubles. This figure has secured the region's status as having the highest payment in the Volga Federal District and placed it among the leaders nationwide. Comprehensive support for defenders is provided not only at the federal level. To date, the authorities of Tatarstan have adopted over three thousand municipal regulatory acts aimed at comprehensive assistance to participants in the special military operation and their families. These measures include additional benefits, social guarantees, and financial support at the local level. As previously reported by "Tatar-inform," the work of the Kazan selection point is strictly organized according to the principle of military accounting specialty (VUS) and the personal desire of the candidate. Vacancies are open in all military districts and branches of the armed forces. Currently, recruitment is being conducted in three main areas:

      - Unmanned systems troops;

      - African Corps;

      - Central Military District.

      The opportunity to sign a contract is also available for female applicants. Two key requirements have been established for them: the presence of relevant medical education and an official recommendation from the commander of the receiving military unit.
