Training for members of electoral commissions in the districts and cities of the republic will be conducted in Tatarstan.

      The educational program will cover about 22 thousand people

      About 22 thousand members of the electoral commissions of Tatarstan will undergo training before the September elections. The program was launched with an off-site seminar in the Vysokogorsky district for the chairpersons and secretaries of the precinct electoral commissions, organized jointly with experts from KFU. Representatives from the Vysokogorsky and Atninsky districts participated in it. At the seminar, the chairman of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Tatarstan, Andrey Kondratiev, emphasized that the professionalism of personnel is the key to the successful conduct of voting and public trust. "The electoral commission is primarily about people. It is the competence, responsibility, and professionalism of the commission members that determine not only the clear organization of all electoral procedures but also the strengthening of public trust in the electoral process," noted Andrey Kondratiev. During the seminar, participants discussed the stages of the work of the precinct electoral commissions, reviewed changes in electoral legislation, issues of organizing voting for people with limited mobility, working with documentation, and security measures. As noted by the Central Election Commission of Tatarstan, the training will cover members of territorial and precinct electoral commissions from all municipal districts of the republic.
