The Summer School "Muslim Theologian: New Generation" has completed its work.

      The traditional Summer School "Muslim Theologian: New Generation" has concluded its work at the Bulgarian Islamic Academy. The project, implemented with the support of the Foundation for the Support of Islamic Culture, Science, and Education, brought together 50 participants from 17 regions of Russia from July 27 to August 7. The educational program of the school included lectures and practical classes, workshops, and master classes. Based on the results of the entrance testing, the participants were divided into three groups, which allowed for the most effective mastery of the educational material.

      Speakers included domestic and foreign scholars, specialists in Islamic theology, Arabic philology, history, pedagogy, religious studies, and research activities. Participants of the school acquired skills in research work, including the rules for formatting theological works, learning the nuances of working with archives of rare books and manuscripts, studying the specifics of using the Arabic language in academic research, and delving into the issues of religious philosophy. Special attention was paid to the origins and current state of interfaith dialogue, as well as methods for popularizing traditional Islam and the spiritual and moral heritage of the Muslim peoples of Russia.

      Imam Murtuzov, a teacher at the Kurchaloev Islamic Institute, expressed words of gratitude to the faculty and organizers. "We had a unique opportunity to gain knowledge from renowned theologians. Huge thanks to the leadership, teachers, and all the staff of the Academy. Here I met friendly and responsive people. As long as we are alive, we will raise prayers for our mentors," shared a participant.

      Aslan Khusikhadzhiev, a religious analyst from the Department of Information Security of the Ministry of National Policy, External Relations, Press, and Information of the Chechen Republic, gave a high assessment of the scientific and educational process and the quality of the organization of the Summer School. "I found myself in Bulgaria for the first time, and my impressions are very positive. I managed to meet outstanding teachers, colleagues from different regions of Russia, as well as communicate with doctors and master's students of the Academy. I want to express my gratitude to the university leadership and personally to the rector of the Academy, Farhat Khusnutdinov, for the opportunity to gain such deep knowledge," he emphasized.

      In addition to intensive training, the school program included master classes in public speaking, a workshop on the basics of research work, as well as cultural and educational events that revealed the role of museums in the spiritual and moral education of Muslim youth.
