Traffic inspectors seized pit bikes from two underage offenders.

In Naberezhnye Chelny, traffic police detained a 16-year-old teenager who was riding a pit bike on city roads without a driver's license. The violator was stopped today around 2:20 in the 68th microdistrict. An administrative protocol was drawn up against the minor in the presence of a legal representative under part 1 of article 12.7 of the Administrative Offenses Code of the Russian Federation for operating a vehicle without the right to drive. The pit bike was sent to the impound lot, and the materials were handed over to the juvenile affairs commission. This is already the second case involving teenagers on pit bikes in recent days. On the evening of August 5, an accident occurred on Nikolai Ivantsov Street involving a Lada Granta car and a 13-year-old pit bike driver. According to the city traffic police, the schoolboy was taken to the Children's Medical Center. After examination, doctors released him home. The pit bike was also evacuated to the impound lot. The circumstances of the accident and possible violations of traffic rules are being established during the administrative investigation.
