In Zainsk, children painted portraits of hero fathers.
Throughout July, the district stage of the republican festival "My Dad is a Hero" was held at the Zainsk Children's Art School. Five young residents of the city aged 7 to 17, under the guidance of teachers Venera Vasilieva and Elena Dmitrieva, created portraits of their fathers participating in the special military operation.
How the classes were conducted
The children worked within the walls of the art school, mastering various painting techniques through author video lessons from the organizers. Each child put a piece of their soul into the work, trying to convey not only the appearance but also the spirit of their loved one. The school director, Elmira Vdovina, noted that the children enjoyed painting, and the teachers were inspired by the materials and helped create worthy works.
Exhibition of the best works
The organizing committee will select 50 best works for the central exhibition. The grand opening of the exhibition will take place in September at the National Library of Tatarstan, inviting the families of the defenders. The festival combines patriotic education and cultural creativity, strengthening the connection between generations.
