The Prosecutor's Office of the Kirov District of Kazan has approved the indictment and sent a criminal case to court against a 50-year-old resident of the capital of Tatarstan. He is accused under Article 116 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (beating out of hooligan motives). According to the investigation, on July 9, 2026, the accused, being in a state of alcoholic intoxication, entered a flower shop on Biruzovaya Street in Kazan. For hooligan reasons, the man threw a glass bottle at the seller, which hit the woman in the head area. After that, he struck the victim on the head. From one of the blows, the woman lost her balance, fell to the floor, and hit her hip against a cabinet standing behind her. Continuing his criminal actions, the accused struck the victim's leg again. The man fully admitted his guilt in the committed act and expressed remorse.
