      In Naberezhnye Chelny, the "Movement of the First" has registered 45,169 participants and 4,893 mentors. This was reported at the business Monday by the chairwoman of the local branch of the All-Russian public-state movement of children and youth "Movement of the First" in the city of Naberezhnye Chelny, Aliya Bikmukhametova. One of the key areas of work remains the military-patriotic direction "Serve the Fatherland." Within its framework, a complex of military-patriotic and socially significant events is being implemented in the city. The All-Russian military-patriotic game "Zarnitsa 2.0" brought together more than 17,000 participants at the school, municipal, and zonal stages. The zonal final took place at the "Rosinka" health camp. For the winners of previous competitions, a trip was organized to the memorial complex "Road of Memory," the "Patriot" park, and the Main Cathedral of the Armed Forces of Russia in Moscow. The best participants of this year's game are planned to be taken on a trip to the hero city of Volgograd. The historical and educational direction is represented by the traveling exhibition "Big Little Heroes," dedicated to child heroes of the Great Patriotic War. The exhibition visited all the schools in the city and was attended by more than 30,000 people. The guides were the activists of the "Movement of the First" themselves. This year, a "Family Zarnitsa" also took place, uniting 94 teams of parents and children. The project aims to strengthen family ties and instill a sense of responsibility in children. Other directions of the movement are also developing in Naberezhnye Chelny. In particular, the local teenage media team has twice been recognized as the best in Russia. The "First Aid" project helps to form a culture of safe behavior among children and teenagers. Additional opportunities for self-realization are provided by specialized shifts and grant competitions. More than 80 children's projects applied for the "Initiative of the First" competition. As a result of the selection, 20 initiatives received grants of 100,000 rubles each. Three more city teams became winners of the All-Russian competition of primary departments, receiving a total of 700,000 rubles.

      Aliya Bikmukhametova addressed the city leadership with a proposal to establish an annual grant "Mentor of the Year." According to her, this measure will help raise the prestige of mentors' work and create an additional motivation system. "I would like to draw attention to the fact that the main thing in the movement is not the number of events and coverage, but the meanings and principles that they reveal. How well we manage to reach every teenager and young person, to become a sought-after and useful platform for self-realization in various directions," noted Aliya Bikmukhametova. She also thanked the city leadership, the regional branch of the movement, directors, specialists, and educators of schools, additional education institutions, and youth policy for their support, and the activists for their participation and involvement of new kids.
