Residents of Tatarstan can submit their projects for the nationwide competition in the field of national relations.

      The IX All-Russian Competition for Best Practices in the Field of National Relations has started in Russia.

      The application period will last until October 20, 2026. State and municipal structures, ordinary citizens, NGOs, budget institutions, and commercial companies can participate.

      The competition program includes six thematic areas:

       projects by NGOs and initiative groups for the harmonization of interethnic relations; initiatives for the preservation of national languages, cultural heritage, and traditions of the peoples of Russia; practices of state authorities in the field of national relations; developments by budget institutions (including houses of friendship and houses of nationalities); projects by commercial organizations in the field of national relations; best practices of people's diplomacy.

      What participation offers

       Winners and finalists receive individual consultations from leading experts, new knowledge and experience in social project design, useful professional connections, media support, and increased recognition. All works recognized by the jury will be included in the final methodological collection, and authors of the best practices will be invited to the VIII All-Russian Conference on "Sustainable Development of the Ethnocultural Sector."

      Important deadlines

       The organizers encourage early submission of applications. The first three participants will receive free expert consultations with the possibility of refining materials. Those who submit their projects by August 31 will be able to attend an exclusive seminar on creating successful applications and avoiding typical mistakes in grant competitions. The initiator of the competition is the autonomous non-profit organization "Resource Center in the Field of National Relations" in partnership with the Commission of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation on Interethnic and Interreligious Relations, the International Union "Assembly of the Peoples of the World," and the movement "Co-Creation of Peoples for the Sake of Life" (Senesh Forum). The event is held with the support of the Council under the President of the Russian Federation for Interethnic Relations, the Federal Nationalities Agency, and the Fund for the Development of Digital Technologies in the Social Sphere.
