Irada Ayupova presented the cultural program of the IV International Forum "GROWTH: Russia and China - mutually beneficial cooperation."

A briefing dedicated to the IV International Forum "GROWTHS: Russia and China - mutually beneficial cooperation" was held at the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan, which will take place in Kazan from August 16 to 19. In addition to a large business program, participants and guests of the forum will enjoy a rich cultural program that will introduce the Russian and Chinese audiences to the traditions, contemporary art, and historical heritage of the two countries. Central events will include performances of fragments of classical Sichuan opera and a play staged by Tatarstan artists directly in China. "The 'GROWTHS' forum has traditionally become a platform not only for the development of business ties but also for strengthening humanitarian dialogue. Today we see how cultural exchange is taking on new, even deeper forms. The forum is becoming a place where joint creative projects are born, where through art we find common meanings, despite the distance of thousands of kilometers," noted the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan, Irada Ayupova. On August 17 and 18, artists from the Sichuan opera will perform the production "Chuan Yun Dong Fang" on the stage of the Galiaskar Kamal Tatar State Academic Theater. One of the oldest forms of Chinese theatrical art, which is among the most important elements of China's intangible cultural heritage, will introduce the audience to the centuries-old traditions of the Chinese stage, unique plasticity, music, and acting skills. One of the landmark events will be the premiere of the joint Russian-Chinese theatrical project "Ez / Trace," created by the "Alif" association - director Tufan Imamutdinov, choreographers Nurbek Batulla and Marcel Nuriyev - and creative partners from Sichuan province. The premiere will take place at the MOÑ theater venue on August 18. The project is based on a creative dialogue between Tatar culture and the culture of the Yi people living in Sichuan province, China. The authors refer to the ethnic heritage, mythology, musical and plastic traditions of the two peoples, exploring points of contact between cultures separated by thousands of kilometers. "In November, the play is planned to be shown at the International Theater Festival in the city of Sichuan - this will be another step in the development of humanitarian cooperation between Russia and China," added the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan, Irada Ayupova. The cultural program will also feature Chinese Film Days at the "Mir" cinema. On August 17, viewers will see the animated film "Rescuers" - a story of incredible virtual adventures where the heroes must test their friendship, and the feature film "Answer to Eternity" - a touching film about a little girl, Jia Yin, who finds a new family and the warmth of a foster grandmother. On August 18, the program will continue with the cartoon "Happy Little Submarine: Adventure with a Dragon" and the feature film "Red Silk." The Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan has organized two business sessions as part of the forum, which will take place on August 17 at "Kazan Expo." The first session - "Culture to the Masses through the Great Silk Road," prepared by the National Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan, is dedicated to reflecting on the Great Silk Road as a historical foundation connecting the past and present of Russian-Chinese political, economic, and cultural dialogue. The second session, organized by "Tatarkino," is "Joint Film Production: Horizons of Cooperation." Directors, producers, creative directors, and distributors from China, Russia, and Tatarstan will discuss trends in the development of cinema, opportunities for state and private support for the film industry, and the selection of themes for joint film production. For the first time, the forum program will include a separate track dedicated to creative industries, cultural codes, and the experience economy. The session "Creative Economy as a Driver of Sustainable Development: Russian-Chinese Experience" will take place with the support of the Creative Industries Development Center of the Republic of Tatarstan. Participants will discuss how traditions can shape the basis of modern business models, how creative industries help promote regions on the international stage, and why cultural identity is becoming an important competitive advantage in the global economy.

"Guests of the forum can look forward to one of the brightest venues of the cultural program - the 'Cross-Cultural Zone.' This year it will symbolically open on the day of the 140th anniversary of the grand opening of the Kazan Crafts and Agricultural Exhibition of 1886," emphasized the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan, Irada Ayupova. The "Cross-Cultural Zone" will operate on August 17 and 18 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Center. Admission is free for all forum visitors. The space will become a place where one can embark on a real journey through the cultural traditions of Russia, Tatarstan, and China in just one day. The interactive venue will unite five thematic zones dedicated to folk crafts, art, and cultural heritage. Over two days, more than 50 performances will take place on stage, featuring over 150 artists. A special atmosphere will be created by displays of national Tatar and Chinese costumes, dozens of interactive and exhibition areas where everyone can learn about folk arts and crafts, participate in master classes, and attend expert lectures dedicated to the Russian-Chinese cultural dialogue.
